SqueezeTV™ is a major new SFI initiative which provides a huge number of opportunities. Gyms and Health Clubs have been successfully targeted by SFI and SqueezeTV™ will be installed in Golds Gyms and SNAP Fitness facilities across the US. A successful trial with Golds Gyms in the Miami DMA has led to additional opportunities in the Atlanta market.

SFI have plans to launch SqueezeTV™ in the following DMAs; Dallas, Washington DC/Baltimore, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Carolina/Raleigh, NJ/NYC, SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Antonio/Austin, Boston and Seattle.

Mark Kackley, VP of Business Development at Sports and Fitness Interactive reports "SFI has developed an innovative digital signage delivery platform, and is currently concentrating on the fitness centre vertical. Taking broadcast television feeds, SFI reduces the broadcast portion and "squeezes" an advertisement into the newly available screen space. This animated advertisement runs for 15-30 seconds before the broadcast television resumes full screen display. This "squeeze" transition is what captures the attention of the gym members in a very captive environment."

"Within environments that already have an existing network of screens such as bars, airport lounges and gyms, screens can be turned into a revenue generating advertising channel. Advertisements will be tagged with an SMS number, and advertisers will be able to request their own keywords, further increasing their brands exposure and providing a measurable element of the customers engagement."

Local news headlines, traffic information and localised sports score updates can be displayed using SqueezeTV™, with the audience already parked up in front of the game of the day.

The fully animated advertisements are created by SFI to promote your specials and complimentary brands and services. Current ads run for 15 seconds across 15-25% of the screen real estate without, of course, interrupting the existing broadcast or program content.

There are numerous opportunities for SqueezeTV™, this application truly allows you to run the media and advertising content of your choice on an existing screens in your own environment. SqueezeTV™ technology lets you promote local attractions for a fraction of the usual media rates, and offer your customers real value with in-store discounts on relevant products.
